I use them every day, and honestly, they hardly ever let me down. Working at the pizza shop, it’s a whole circus of people trying to snag free stuff, which gets super annoying because it takes time away from the real customers just wanting to enjoy their pizza. My gut feelings are usually spot on when I check for this, helping me figure out who really needs help and who’s just trying to pull a fast one on us. I deal with a similar vibe at my other gig, driving for Meals on Wheels. The seniors can be really stubborn and never want to ask for help, acting like they’ve got everything covered. But sometimes, you’ve just got to trust your instincts and step in, even if it’s not what they want, because keeping them safe and taken care of is what really matters, no matter how much they want to be independent.
