My brother has developed an intense, unhealthy anger towards the Republican party, particularly in relation to Donald Trump. This anger has escalated to the point where he is alienating his entire family and social circle. He has even gone so far as to tell me that my own parents, who were staunch Democrats, would be ashamed of me for supporting Trump. While my parents were lifelong Democrats, I believe they might have reconsidered their political leanings if they could see the current state of the United States. Ultimately, I think my brother would benefit greatly from seeking professional help to address the underlying issues fueling his extreme political animosity.
